Catch up

My friend Heidi was kind enough to remind me that I hadn't blogged in a while...So here is a quick recap of what has been happening in the Dillinger household.

As Travis said he ruptured his Achille's tendon the Sunday before Thanksgiving and had surgery shortly after. About a week after his surgery he was put into an actual cast. He spent about two weeks in this cast and was then fitted into another one. On the 28th he got his cast off and was put into a walking boot. He does physical therapy twice a week and does stretches every day. Tearing your Achille's tendon is one of the worst injuries. We had a friend who had been through this before and found a blog that discussed the recovery details. We definitely knew it was going to be a long road. I am so glad that our family is close and has been able to help out. I am also thankful that we haven't had a lot of snow. With the snow we have had, our awesome neighbor Jon has shoveled for us.

As far as Tessa, Christmas, and everything in between, well you will need to catch up the rest of the week!
