Two and a half

Some fun things about Tessa at age 2 1/2:

She loves to sing and dance (most of the time on chairs)...this girl is going to rock the stage some day. She loves to watch Glee (and asks for it most of the day while at home). In the car she will ask for the radio to be turned up and will request mommy sings or that we listen to particular songs that she knows.

She hates bathtime...unless she gets to color the water. Crayola makes Bath Dropz that tint the water different colors. You can mix and match them to create different colors. Because she is definitely into being independent right now she loves to pick out her color and mix them together.

She is a great storyteller...and is always filled with drama. The other night she was telling us a story about a bear that got in front of us. And Tosh, Crystal, Greta, mommy and daddy were there. And Noah bit him. (Noah is a boy at daycare, we hear a lot about him--mostly in the context of "Noah did it" {this can be prefaced with anything--"look at the mud mommy, Noah did it."})

She loves to make believe...she cooks in her kitchen, plays with her people, and can entertain herself for hours with her imagination. I love when she "cooks" something for us and brings it to us. She is so proud of herself! Her favorite dish to make right now seems to be pizza.

She loves to read...anything. She usually sleeps with a couple books at night time as well. Her favorites include a pumpkin patch book, the trucks book, anything that makes noise...

She still loves movies...mostly princess movies, but she still loves Toy Story. (And did I mention that she loves Glee...) She also loves cartoons, pretty much anything on Nick Jr, but really loves The Fresh Beat Band (which ironically isn't a cartoon and is about music.)

She talks about basketball non-stop...and loves football and other sports. She is going to be a well-rounded child.

Today she and daddy did their first bake project...Travis and Tessa made chocolate cupcakes on their own. AND BIG NEWS! Tessa ate one!

She has moved up to the Cubbie room at daycare which is the 3 year old room. :)
