Thankful Day 11-16

So I slacked a little bit...

Thankful Day 11: As it was 11/11 I am thankful for being able to be a registered Bone Marrow Donor. On 11/11 Dear Jack Foundation held their annual benefit concert to raise money and awareness for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I became a registered bone marrow donor because of Andrew McMahon's story. I encourage everyone to look in to becoming a register bone marrow donor. Thankful Day 12: I am thankful for having two realiable vehicles that are almost paid off!!

Thankful Day 13: I am thankful for babies! (NO I AM NOT PREGNANT!!) Two of my good friends gave birth to healthy babies this last weekend. One beautiful baby girl and one handsome baby boy. I am so excited and happy about both little ones!!

Thankful Day 14: Thankful for my DVR...weird I know. It allows me to record my shows so that I can watch them later. Especially when Tess only wants to watch cartoons.

Thankful Day 15: Ironically I am thankful for the cartoons that Tess watches. She absorbs and LEARNS so much. Through one specific epsiode regarding the doctor and x-rays I was able to calm Tess down and remind her what happened in the cartoon when she had to get an x-ray herself. I am hoping the same concept works when we fly on a plane.

Thankful Day 16: I am thankful for my hairstylist. Another weird one...She is super honest and upfront with what she thinks will or won't look good on me. She has talked me out of a couple things that down the road I look back on as being bad ideas on my part!!
